On globe there are some more places connected with activity of Dutches. For example, in Pacific ocean Easter island belonging now Chile, exotic and mysterious is located. The island for the world has been opened in XVIII century Dutches. They have given it so unusual name as for the first time have seen it in day of an easter holiday. Under this name the island is designated on the European cards though Polynesians long since knew it as island Rapanui. Geographical opening of Dutches are anyhow connected with their search of new ways to India. They searched independent communications with India not casually. In the end of XVI century Phillip II has ordered to arrest all Netherlands vessels which were in port of Lisbon which possessed a monopoly on trade with Asia and resale

Dutches (as well as Englishmen) tried after that to protect themselves from similar accidents and began to send the ships to India, refusing from services and Portugueses, and Spaniards. It would be, of course, easier to them to buy spices and other goods and Lisbon, but fear of the new arrest, the developed struggle of the Netherlands against Spain did not leave hopes of perspectivity of such trade.

Maintaining regular relations with India, buying spices first-hand, Dutches more and more superseded Portugueses, and for Netherlands any half a century have extended the influence on all Southern and South East Asia. Dutches have started to base own bases - trading stations - in the different Asian countries, and to the middle of XVII century trade between Europe and India has appeared almost completely in their hands. As well as in the new Light, dominating position was occupied with East Indian company specially created for this purpose. It has been formed in 1602, for 20 years before Vest-Indsky, and used not only monopoly for conducting trade with all countries of region, but also the right of declaration of war, conclusion of peace. The company had the right to build cities and fortresses, to mint a coin, to conduct legal proceedings, to appoint officials, to conclude dogovory with the native authorities - and all it on behalf of general states. On a sort of the functions it represented the created state formation as which territory the Dutch vessels yes the colonies taken away from Portugueses were considered is artificial.
